JOB PURPOSE: The Chief Financial Officer oversees and manages a team of four in financial operations, reporting, tax review, payroll, and budget preparation. Provides financial metrics to Senior Management team with strategic input and insight to areas of risk and recommendations for improvement.

JOB DESCRIPTION
· Serve as a strategic partner and financial advisor to the CEO, the board, and members of the Executive Leadership team
· Oversee the organization’s accounting, finance functions, Human Resources and performance at all levels
· Fully grasp the key elements of the business that drive revenue and performance improvement
· Ensure all financial systems and controls reflect “best practices” for critical financial processes
· Direct the preparation of all external and internal financial reports including monthly and quarterly Financial Reports for the Executive Leadership team
· Develop budgets and forecasts and prepare appropriate analyses to help proactively drive business results
· Actively and prudently manage all cash activities including billings, collections, partner payments, employee commissions and payables
· Ensure all transactions and accounting results comply with US GAAP and applicable laws and regulations

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or accounting
• CPA or MBA
• 15 years of relevant experience, specifically in leadership and controllership functions for small to mid-size professional service firms, including budgeting and financial analysis
• Experience in establishing an internal control environment for a high energy, fast paced, growing organization
• Strong expertise in payroll/time management systems, QuickBooks, Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products required
• Understanding of human resources requirements
• Experience with supporting multiple offices, non-US office experience is a plus
