JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assists with the development and execution of strategic plans to drive growth and increase market share.
• Collaborates with department leaders to ensure strategies and promotions align appropriately with member/organization needs.
• Develops and executes plans to support marketing, advertising, public relations and product/service promotions.
• Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, competitive, technological, demographic and behavioral factors to capitalize on market opportunities.
• Manages activities, deliverables and events to support various programs and strategic partnerships.
• Oversees the organization’s corporate branding guidelines to ensure adherence across the organization.
• Assists with management of public relations by developing strategies, setting goals, managing media contacts, developing press releases, pitching stories to the media and monitoring/reporting results.
• Identifies and manages relationships with outside resources, including ad agencies, printers, graphic designers and others.
• Assists with the creation of the marketing budget and effectively manages the allocated dollars to maximize results and return on investment, while meeting objectives and goals.
• Evaluates market and member reactions to advertising programs, marketing tactics, promotions, events and activities.
• Manages a team of marketing professionals, including hiring, training and conducting performance appraisals.
• Assists with the development and deployment of market and member surveys, analyzes results and makes recommendations based on findings.
• Works closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure all marketing activities, promotions, events and campaigns are communicated via digital, video and social channels.
• Assists with digital marketing. This may include updating content on the organization’s websites, social media channels and other digital platforms, and developing digital concepts and purchasing paid advertising.
• Conducts competitive analysis and makes recommendations for developing new products, services and campaigns/promotions.
• Develops advertising and promotional campaigns, including developing concepts, drafting headlines, writing copy and working with a graphic designer to bring concepts to life.

REQUIREMENTS
• BA or BS in advertising, marketing, communications or a related field.
• Three years of proven experience in marketing including managing campaigns/projects.
• Understanding of the creative services and finished production processes involved in creating marketing materials for print, web, and broadcast.
• Ability to work well on multiple assignments simultaneously under demanding deadlines, including the ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize, and prioritize work.
• Ability to work well as a part of a team.
